Yesterday morning was spent teaching some local high school students about power boat safety and handling. One of the local high schools has a boat operations class; one of their former students arranged for two of the classes to take a field trip to the Orange Coast College Professional Mariners Program. Marauder’s Map
“I solemnly swear that I am up to no good” Tonight, I am grateful for so much music in the world. I swear, sometimes I can’t take it. And I am grateful for obtuse humor – and an inside joke.
Maybe
This past weekend we celebrated Memorial Day; a day when we remember the soldiers who served for and gave their lives for the freedoms that we citizens of the United States of America enjoy. I feel for the families that have lost loved ones in any war or “action” that the U.S. has been involved…
It Was A Memorable Day
I am grateful that I was able to spend this gorgeous day with my family… sharing the joys of our community and relishing the vibe of downtown Mill Valley. I am grateful for my brother and sisters… I am grateful for the vets who gave their lives, living and passed, for their belief in freedom…
Just get ‘er done
I am grateful that I remembered that today is Thursday and that I needed to get this done. So now it is done.

I awoke this morning to a beautiful day. Off to Studio Thirty for a brisk, invigorating workout. Back home; had a solid breakfast. Got some updates done on the CEERT site… after getting it back online. Took my brother, Syd, to the DMV and got his ID ordered. Then we hung out and watched some…
Busy Life
This past weekend I spent some time with an old friend at her house. In her early Seventies, she continues to work, even though she retired twenty years ago. She enjoys what she is doing and it keeps her mind young. I understand this and I feel that I will be the same; always working…
A Walk in the Woods
at about 4:30pm this afternoon, I decided to accept the facts as they were, pick up leash, collar, and bags… heading off to the pathway loop through meadow and woods with marlin. it was a very nice, late afternoon stroll – just marlin and me. The crisp air and warm sunshine all felt good. I’m…
