This morning I woke up at my normal time, around 04:00 in the morning. The thing that made today a little different was that today I have a client, who is in Canada on East Coast time, that I had to be ready to work with by 05:00 in the morning. This disrupted my normal morning routine, just a little; still had time to make my coffee. When I sat at my desk and turned on the computer and monitors, preparing myself for the long day, I raised the blinds that cover my window. It was still dark outside. Dark and cold; I was able to feel the chill coming through the window.

Sitting at my desk, working, as the sun began to rise, was such a beautiful sight. What a wonderful morning the creator has given to me. In front of me was the green grass of the golf course, behind it was several rows of trees and beyond them, further away, were the mountains, behind and just above the mountains was a little wisp of a cloud, turning pink as the sun began it’s ascent into the sky. It was a clear, crisp morning and this was just a perfect way to start the day.

I am grateful for moments like this one; and I am grateful for my health.
