I remember as a child watching Star Trek with my brother and cousin, thinking man that would be so cool.  Well aside from the teleporter, we pretty much are living in a Star Trek world.  Your watch can tell you how healthy you are or are not.  We have lasers that shoot from different forms of transmitters; they may not stun or kill you, but they do transmit information.

Technology allows me to attend a meeting while being thousands of miles away.  This is a wonderful world that we live in, when technology is used appropriately.

So today I am grateful for the technology and the use there of that makes my life better.
