This week I am being reminded that I own and operate several businesses and that these businesses exist to make money. That is the bottom line!! A lot of good happens with that money; donations to charities, helping homeless people who are hungry and helping family and friends who need financial assistance, but we are in business to make money.

This week I have been asked if I am willing to sacrifice my time for a greater good? My time is important to me and is expensive for others who want to share it or use it; so this is a philosophical question for me. I am willing to invest me time, but there will have to be a Return on this Investment. My businesses are not set up as charities! This does not mean that I do not have compassion, it just means that other people need to value my time as much as I do. It is my job to educate them on how valuable my time is.

I am grateful for all of the opportunities that the creator places before me. I am grateful the ability to manage multiple tasks and businesses at one time. I am grateful to have someone in my life who I love spending a lot of time with; who loves me in return. I am grateful for my life as it currently is; and I look forward to the future as I live in the day.
