This last Friday, the 26th of May, I helped a friend cruise their thirty-four foot trawler from Long Beach to Dana Point. An easy enough cruise. We were about three miles off-shore, cruising at eight knots per mile; the sky was overcast and there was a little swell coming across our starboard stern. Somewhere between…

On the Water
It seems that I have had more opportunities to spend time on the ocean. As much as I love officiating the sport of futbol/soccer, I love being on, by and in the ocean. I have been asked by several friends and neighbors to captain, or accompany them on their boat’s. It doesn’t matter what the…
Family and Friends
This past Sunday I drove from Southern California to the Bay Area to help my partner move some of her stuff out of her Auntie’s storage shed. We filled up her little pickup truck but still had stuff sitting out that we wanted to take to the Goodwill, we just did not have any room…
Cash
This afternoon and evening I worked two seperate charters. An easy way to work. Work hard and service your clients abd they will take care of you. Today I am grateful for tips in the form of cash.
I’m alive
This week has shot past me. I am not sure what has been accomplished; but when I do reflect back, there has been quite a lot accomplished. I am grateful that I am busy, that the Lord provides many different opportunities for me. That I will get to spend the weekend with my partner.
Individually

It is over….
Well the race is over; after sailing over 125 nautical miles and 44 hours the vessel that I was sailing on made it into Ensenada. We came in dead last! About a day behind most of the other competitors. So I am grateful that we did this race for several reasons: We plan on racing…
The Race is On!
In yesterday’s mail I received my diploma and certificate of achievement for having completed the required courses at Orange Coast College within their Professional Mariner’s Activities program. I have officially graduated with an AS and certificate as a Professional Mariner. It took a little over two years but well worth it. I have met some…
The power to be…..
I am very grateful for having the conscious ability to be whatever I want to be. The Lord has endowed me with the ability to choose how I want to live my life and so I do. I choose to be healthy, loving and a spreader of peace and joy. I am enjoying the reading…
She’s a Lady
Today I am very grateful that there is a beautiful lady in my life; one who does not allow me to slack off.
