I had the pleasure today of catching up with a couple of friends – one briefly; and one for a while.

I am very grateful for connections forged a long, long time ago… that time doesn’t tarnish. They are perhaps even finer today.

My heart fills gently with the resounding memories… the smiles… the laughter…

Truly, there is nothing greater on this planet. A long-standing friendship is golden rays from heaven, shining down and lightening my steps on this planet.

I am so much better off for these friendships.
