Some things reward late

This week I traveled for some business; I was fortunate enough to have a sibling living in the general area that I traveled to, so I had a place to crash. One of my business associates was not so fortunate, therefore they had no place to stay. I pulled up an app for Hilton Hotels and found a hotel nearby and was able to book room for my associate. Upon our arrival at the hotel we noticed that we were the only car in the lot; the front door had a sign on it that stated the hotel was temporarily closed because of the Corona Virus. I wondered why they confirmed my reservation. Looking around I saw a Residence Inn by Marriot. So we drove over there. I walked up to the front desk, handed them my Marriot Reward Member card and asked if I could get a room for the night. The lady took my card, thanked me for being an Ambassador Elite, in their program and proceeded to book a room for me. I said that any room that had a bed would be great; she booked my compatriot into a two-bedroom suite. Staying five months at a Residence Inn while working in Seattle had paid off.

You may think that you are working too hard or that life is not fair. Life is what you make of it. The creator may not always reward you right away, sometimes your patience may be tested; if you stay positive and keep that upbeat outlook, you will be rewarded. Positive attracts positive, that is my only choice. I am so grateful for all that I have been rewarded with in this life and this week, five months in a hotel, in the Seattle area, paid off for one of my work companions. Did I forget to say that room rate was that of a single room?

Life is good, no life is great and I am grateful for that as well!
