This past weekend I spent a whole day out on a golf course. Do you want to know how I did? I didn’t play. I was the fourth person in a threesome that was playing. I was riding in the cart, keeping score on each hole, having a fantastic time. We were told before the round that it was a very tough course; that it was a “target course”. This means that a person, like me, who doesn’t play much golf would lose quite a few golf balls over eighteen holes. It is a good thing that I was not playing.
My partner Grace, was playing and she had a phenomenal day! Four birdies and the lowest score for the tournament that she was playing in. It was so fun to watch! After the golf we retreated to the club house for a late lunch/early dinner and awards ceremony. Again, I enjoyed hanging out with some wonderful people, laughing and having a great time with some good food.
I am so grateful for moments and days like this; where I get to relax, enjoy the outdoors, hangout with great people and have fun.
