Today the Class of 2025 graduated from The Academy of Our Lady of Peace in San Diego. There were a couple of things that I could have done without, the biggest being nothing related to the graduation at all, but rather a One-hundred and fifteen year old building wanting to grab some attention. Yep, could have done without this one today. The plumber was called and tomorrow we will be doing some excavating into the foundation.

All in All it was very well produced and I even started, what I think will be a new tradition…I rang the bell in the bell tower as the students moved their tassles. Every previous class that I have spoken to, even one person from the class of 1948, the bell was never rung, not even at graduation. I believe that it was a success and the seniors were very surprised and appreciated it.

So I am grateful to be working with such a wonderful group of people, that are able to produce a meaningful moment for our seniors and their families.
