Several people at work are having to deal with parental health issues as well as death. It is not easy and it reminds me of when my father and then my mother in-law were ill and then passed away. I repeat, it is not easy and I still miss them both. It is good to laugh at some of the stories regarding their last days, because among the sadness there were some humorous moments.

I am grateful for my wonderful family, siblings, children and extended. I am grateful for the funny moments and I am grateful that I am still a part of a community that cares and loves.
