This morning I woke up an hour earlier than I normally would; I woke up at 03:30.  I woke up early so that I could pack the car and drive from the Port of Los Angeles to the Las Vegas International airport where I picked up my partner.  Since I did not have to travel to Canada this week, I figured that I would drive out to Vegas and spend some time with her, her niece and her great niece.

I am grateful that we both arrived in Las Vegas safely, her by flight and me by automobile. I am grateful for every moment that I get to spend with her.
