Once again this past weekend was a phenominal one. It began on Thursday with the celebration of life for one of the most loving ladies that I have ever known. She was a true teacher, who walked the walk of love, and followed the path of Jesus Christ. It was a small intimate group, mostly just family members, so I was honored to be a part of it. This was up in Ventura. Friday, I drove down to Long Beach to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I had time to kill during the day so I convinced a friend to go sailing with me. What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.
Saturday was a Passover Seder and dinner at with my Aunt Susie, joined by her family and some friends. This is an annual tradition that I have not missed in almost Thirty years.
Then Sunday, Easter Sunday, I drove back down to San Diego. I had to move the boat, here, out of one slip and into another slip. So if I have to move the boat, I might as well take her out on the bay for a little cruise. Sur la Mer loves to cruise and she runs great. She is such a beautiful boat.
I am so grateful for weekends like this past one; I am extremely grateful that I had two days off, extending the weekend.
