Today marks a new chapter in the life of my youngest son. He has landed at a medical school that is closer to South America than it is to North America. I am very proud of him and I support all of the decisions that he has made, so far in his life.
I am grateful that he has made it to the island safely and that he is embracing the fact that he will be studying for the next four to six years of his life. I look forward to visiting him there, occasionally.
