This past weekend was a three day weekend. In the United States we celebrate “President’s Day”. When I was a child going to school we had two separate days off in February; one for President Washington’s birthday and one for President Lincoln’s birthday. Now they just combine the two into one because there are so many other birthday’s being celebrated, Martin Luther King, Caesar Chavez, etc. It was a wonderful weekend. I was able to get some work done on my partner’s boat as well as spend some time with people that I love and enjoy being with. I was able to relax and have some good conversation as well as get some laundry done; that is always a plus.

Today I am grateful for three days off, being productive in those three days and relaxing with a lady that I love.
