This week I am relaxing in Loreto Mexico; I am here with my best friend, who I have known my whole life, his wife and my wonderful partner Grace.  Yesterday we took a boat charter to go snorkeling; while going between islands the captain asked me if I wanted to drive.  “Hell yes, I do!”  The captain is a great guide and he and I had a good conversation about boats and the waters around Loreto.

I also spent a good thirty minutes on the phone this evening with my younger son James.  We talked about his recent voyage to Sicily and Instanbul.

I am grateful that we both are living the life that we want to live; that we live for ourselves and not what others expect us to do.
