Last night I was watching a show on PBS about an alien object that had entered our solar system.  Scientist predicted that it had come from another solar system that was eight billion years older than ours.  That is hard to imagine.  As I pursue my new career and life on the oceans I still look to space and the infinite opportunities that are out there.  In comparison to our world and the worlds that are all around us, our lives are comparably short.  We should strive to enjoy life; working hard to make this world more enjoyable for all, not just mankind.

So far, I am very grateful for the life that I am living.  (I know that I have said this before; it is still true today.)
