I heard the local headlines yesterday and this morning… median home prices in the SF Bay Area had dropped for the first time in 7 years.

I saw this trend happening with the home we owned in Nevada City. When we first approached our realtor, Kurt Condon (and I give his a shout out because he and his team are awesome!), his response was pretty positive for the potential results. As time continued, by the time it was on the market just a few months later — he even expressed surprise it hadn’t sold immediately. And since I was watching things closely, I saw the downward trend for sellers… moving from a sellers’ market to a buyers’ market. So we followed his advice all the way through the final sale.

And I am grateful to have that financial responsibility off my plate — and everyone that was owed money from it paid off in full.
