today I am grateful for my tears.
it washes my righteousness and anger away, bringing me back to zero—a reboot if you will— and i am once again filled with peace and hope, knowing there isn’t anything that separates us all. i harbor no ill will in this quiet moment, after my inner rain lets its last drop flow
i can rejoin humanity in a positive light
it’s not a whitewashing: whitewashing covers over, leaving the stain in place. it’s a cleansing, washing away the pain so that it doesn’t exist… anymore
i know i’m not alone. i’m grateful that i’m not alone.
i’m grateful for my cleansing tears.
