The other day, as I was driving home from my office, the view that I was looking at, just looked fake.  It looked like someone had painted a Hollywood movie set.  The green of the hills, with a pastel blue sky, tinted with orange and pink of the sun, that was beginning to set, with a few puffy clouds dotting the skyline; it looked surreal.  Once again, I was thankful that the creator had shared such a lovely view with me.

Last Friday, my daughter and I spent the day running errands together, some of which was clothes shopping for both her and I; then that evening we drove up to Sacramento with my wife, to have dinner with our youngest son, celebrating his birthday.  It was a wonderful day!  It was a long day, but I really enjoyed the time with my family.  The previous weekend, my wife, daughter and I spent the weekend with our oldest son and his girlfriend, as we went to see Miranda Lambert together.  The following day my wife, daughter and I drove up to Yosemite, where we spent the day hiking around and taking photos of the beautiful scenery.

I am so very grateful to be able to spend this type of time with my family.  I am grateful that technology allows me to speak with my mother every week, even though she lives in a country that is located in the middle of Central America.  I am grateful for the life that I live; and I ask the creator all of the time, to give me guidance, so that I can help make this world a better place for all. I would say that if you are not happy with your life, why not? What can you do to change that? Not what can someone else do; but what can you do?!
