I really should have written this post last week, but I was very busy, relaxing and enjoying my family and some very good friends, company. I turned 50 last Thursday and I spent the day, as well as the two days prior to Thursday, at my favorite place in the world, Crystal Cove State Beach. I rented one of the cottages for three nights and invited family and friends to join me on Thursday to celebrate my fifty years of living, which some did. It was a great way to spend my birthday; hanging out with my family and seeing some old friends, who all spent time with me at Crystal Cove, one time or another, earlier in our lives.
We caught up on what we are currently up to with our lives and reminisced about living at “The Cove”. A lot of great memories shared with wonderful people.
I am grateful that I have so many good friends; that my family was there with me as well and that I really do not feel 50.
Life is good and time continues to march on, whether we want it to or not.
