This past weekend my wife and I traveled to Fresno California to see Garth Brooks in concert.  We met our oldest son, his girlfriend and her parents there as well.  We had a wonderful dinner and then enjoyed the four hour show.   The next morning my wife and I drove up to Yosemite Valley, where we walked around and took photographs of all of the beauty that the valley has to offer.  As we were walking back to our car, we stopped in a meadow so that my wife could photograph the sunset glowing off of Half Dome; as we sat there four bucks were feeding themselves, totally oblivious of anything that was going on around them.  When I say oblivious, they would walk out into the road to get an acorn, not caring that a row of cars were trying to leave the park or that a shuttle bus was trying to get past them.  We were able to take the photo of Half Dome and the sunsets glow as well as some truly awesome photos of all of these deer.  There was also a doe with four fawns; she was a little more cautious when it came to crossing the street.  She even used the crosswalk.

Today I am grateful for a wonderful weekend spent with my wife; that started with some quality time with one or our sons.
