Today on this day of Thanks Giving, I am grateful for some very good friends.  These are friends that I have known for twenty years or more and who I consider family.  We may not talk to each other today, but I know that each one of us are thinking of the other as well as the families that come with them.  I have exchanged holiday greetings with a couple of them already.  It is always good catching up with them; it seems that when we talk, time has stood still.

I do not discount that I am grateful for my own family as well, but as stated earlier, these friends are family and I am grateful for them all.
