This morning, there is a lot to be grateful for.
Mt. Tam. majestically stands tall over the valley that this house that I call home is nestled into. Looking out my office window, I see life abundantly — a variety of greenery, most of which I can’t identify beyond “tree” and “bush”.
Morning crows mix their voice in with the sound of traffic on one of the arteries into town and the bounce of a lone tennis player’s practice against a wall.
And all of this shines so much brighter because of my family.
Let my heart beat – long enough for me to prove my love to you. Long enough for for its truth to be as sound as waves upon the shore. May I leave with ease when it is time to go… knowing there is nothing more.
