Once again, today, there is not one specific thing that I can say that I am grateful for.  This does not mean that I am not feeling grateful; quite the opposite.  I am very thankful for the life that I am living.

This past weekend my 15-year-old daughter and I went to the Oakland A’s vs. the Angels baseball game.  The A’s honored the members of their 1974 World Series winning team; so I was able to see some the players that I enjoyed watching when I was a kid.  Being there reminded me of my maternal Grandfather, a huge A’s fan.  I am sure that both he and my grandmother were smiling as they watched the game from up high.  I am so grateful that my daughter wanted me to take her to the game.  She said that it was the best game that we have ever been to.  I think that she is right.

Several of the projects that I am working on, building other income sources for my family and me are coming together and some are even starting to pay off.  I have asked several people to help me with feed back and they have been very open and helpful.  So I really am grateful for friends and for the opportunities to network.  If you need some help, you should just ask, never be afraid of that.

The weather is starting to warm up which means there is more swimming in the pool for me or sitting in the spa and relaxing.  The other day was a very long and physical day at the day job.  I was so grateful to come home, eat dinner and then pour myself a glass of a Livermore Valley Petit Sirah and then sit in the spa and look at the stars.  It was very relaxing and I am so grateful for that.

This month being the month of June in the year 2014, means that next week the FIFA World Cup tournament will begin in Brazil.  I am grateful that I will be taking time off from work to watch the games that I really want to see.  I think that this will be one of the best and most competitive tournaments in World Cup history.  There are some very good players who will be playing for different countries.  I joked with my wife that I was going to hang a Wide Screen television outside, so that I can float in the pool and watch the games.  Hmmmmm……????!!!!

My mother made it to the USA safely from her house in Nicaragua and I will see her next week, when my middle child graduates from High School.  I am grateful for both of these events as well.

Everyday, all of the time, there is so much to be grateful for.  My car has almost 320,000 miles on the original engine and transmission; and it still runs great.

You get it?  I am grateful for life.  It is a good one.
