Today I feel the weight of the world; pulling me down into the weight of myself—my soul…

And I hear we all go through it… dark nights of the soul. But we don’t want to talk about it… we want to hide it in church basements and library meeting rooms. We want to keep it in a professional place, sequestered appropriately so that the adults can get on with their business unheeded by those that are too weak, too fragile to live in the adult world—too weak to understand business and authority… Personal Responsibility In Daily Effort…

Ten-hut!

However, it is our wounds that need healing… As a wise man once said in a wonderful parable:

‘Business!’ cried the Ghost, wringing its hands again. ‘Mankind was my business. The common welfare was my business; charity, mercy, forbearance, and benevolence, were, all, my business. The dealings of my trade were but a drop of water in the comprehensive ocean of my business!’

So I am grateful for those whose voices are having trouble being heard. It might be the voice we should be listening to… earth’s ailments won’t be cured by more actions from the wounds within—but by the healing of our inner ailing.
