Psalm 23:4
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

tonight i am grateful for halloween—a night of permission to look to the shadowed and dark… the feared, the hallowed places that await bravery and bravado. each with their own reward.

whilst our skeletons remain in our closets, we shan’t know peace.
whilst we remain with the energies which turn us away, we will not love or be loved…

what do your shadowed thoughts embody themselves with? the predators from the daily news? atrocities read about? experienced? imagined?
who is not worthy of your peace? your love? your light? what cloak and costume have you given them?
for they are yours—your shadows, your demons, your devils and sinners… as they are mine, as well

we only recognize our haunts because they resonate within… it truly does take one to know one

tonight we can, in unison, bring out our dead and gather together the light cast from gourde lanterns and brave beings and start to diminish and forgive the imagined darkness we simultaneously created and buried from our consciousness

awaiting us all, everyone, is the experience of our wholeness and holiness—for from every living entity that i turn from, i turn from myself…

oh, glory to us all – oh, gory to us all… for in breathing deeply into our night do we come to our light and shine forth; beckon behind.

in seeing the light in others do we find our own—in knowing our own light do we help others see theirs…

Happy Halloween, brothers & sisters… family & friends. one and all
