I fell, in my opinion, pretty hard last week. Didn’t accomplish all I set out to do. Didn’t put time into stand-up… wasn’t feeling on top of my game.

I suppose, that I rarely feel on top of my game—because the game I envision in my mind is pretty large. Living large.

There are so many tidbits that refer to aiming high; “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”, “Aim at heaven and you will get earth thrown in. Aim at earth and you get neither.”, etc.

An exulted Spirit reaches for the eternal, the goal never reached because it is eternal.

And this is the life I aspire to. At the moment? I don’t believe I have much actualization to show for it. That’s just me—because I know the goals I harbor within.

And today, I am grateful that when I stumble, fall… smash my face into the ground—I can (with a little help of my friends) stand up, dust off and take another step forward.

Any given moment has all the potential of eternity—and never is the final curtain call.
