Today I am grateful for having spent last week down in SJC with my sister and family, hanging out with my nephew that had a cancerous brain tumor removed about 7 weeks ago. He came home last Friday without a tube in his body; walking into his home to settle in with us all hanging out in the living room. It was a glorious week.

And I suppose it seems to be a good place to end a chapter with this blog, and continue with it as the original resource it was intended for…

If you are interested in keeping up-to-date with Cole’s progress (my nephew), you can do so at It is free; they do ask you to sign up. By doing so you receive notices when Rivka (my sister/Cole’s mom) posts updates and photos—which she intends to do quite regularly.

The Bent Family is one of those families that heals just by hanging around them. Their energy and faith quenches a parched spirit. I am grateful that I was given the opportunity to be with them last week and grateful that I took the opportunity.

I am looking forward to the next one; hoping it is soon.
